MSc (TCD) Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Clin Dip Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (IIPP), MA (Oxon) Psychology and Philosophy

Mary Margaret is a psychotherapist who works psychoanalytically with adult clients.

With an MSc in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from Trinity College Dublin she qualified in clinical psychotherapy with the Irish Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. She continues to work psychoanalytically with individuals experiencing disquiet or distress or suffering the impact of crisis or trauma.

Earlier academic studies in which she specialised in aspects of developmental psychology, clinical psychology and in the philosophy of mind, were followed by roles in the coordination and administration of inpatient, occupational therapy and community mental health services over many years. Mary Margaret also trained in a range of related support skills including bereavement counselling and self-care in recovery from "serious mental illness".

As well as her therapeutic work at the Leeson Analytic Centre, she works psychoanalytically with patients at a GP surgery.
