Marie treats children, adolescents, adults and couples for a variety of psychological problems. Her training on the MA in Psychoanalysis included clinical experience in various Dublin psychiatric hospitals, the Rotunda Maternity Hospital and the Mater Hospital Pain Clinic.
Marie's clients have ranged in age from 4 to 94. She has worked as a psychoanalyst with statutory agencies including the Juvenile Liaison service, agencies caring for adults and families affected by institutional abuse and corporate Employee Assistance programmes treating bullying, redundancy support and anger management.
Marie has treated young people in private practice and in school settings for over a decade. In 2008, she completed a Certificate in Family Therapy and extended her practice to include couples counselling and pre-marriage counselling.
Marie is Clinical Tutor on the MA in Psychotherapy programme at Independent Colleges, Dublin. She has also contributed to their MA in Dispute Resolution programme.
