Ann-Marie offers one-to-one psychotherapy and psychoanalytic psychotherapy for people ages sixteen and up. She can work on a short term, interventional basis, or offer long term treatment depending on what a client is seeking.
Ann-Marie has been practicing counselling and psychotherapy since 2017, after completing her Masters training in Independent Colleges, Dawson Street. She has offered her clinical skills in the charity sector, addiction services, the HSE, on EAPs, with colleges, and in private practice. She has completed further workshops in trauma, neurodivergence, suicide intervention, harm reduction in deliberate self-injury, and child protection.
Prior to this dedicated focus, Ann-Marie has worked in various roles of acute adult care in the HSE. She has also trained in anatomy and physiology and holds several qualifications in holistic therapies. As such, the functioning of the body, how one experiences the healthcare system, and healthcare related trauma is no mystery to her knowledge base. She worked at the heart of the Covid 19 crisis and is very familiar with the kind of impact it has had on the general population.
