Anna was awarded a B.A. in Psychology (Hons) from Dublin Business School and an M.Sc. in Health Psychology (Hons) from the University of Galway. In addition, as part of her continuing professional development, Anna is currently pursuing a Masters in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, offered by the School of Medicine in UCD, at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Anna is a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland and a pre-accredited member of the Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland.
Anna works with adults using a psychoanalytic psychotherapy approach. During a consultation, she listens to the story and observes patterns, slips of the tongue, motives behind forgetting, or recurring dreams. As one begins psychoanalysis and is guided effectively by Anna, one may uncover something that has always been there but went unnoticed. She works in both English and Polish.
Anna has been dedicated to psychoanalytic work for 7 years and is a regular participant in the Espace Analitique Ireland group, where she collaborates to discuss psychoanalytic practice. She also maintains clinical supervision with a psychoanalytic supervisor.
