Eve is one of the director practitioners at Leeson Analytic Centre and has been in clinical practice since 2003. She did her psychotherapy clinical training, studies in group analysis and PhD at the UCD School of Psychotherapy at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Eve works with adults and young adults for individual and peer group work and is available for clinical supervision. Eve works with people on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, sexuality, loss and bereavement, trauma, loneliness and isolation, as well as the psychological effects of physical illnesses.

She has been involved in psychotherapy training, education and research since 2005 and is published in Ireland and abroad in topics such as sexuality, culture, literature, film, psychoanalysis, and the role of psychotherapy in the modern era. As well as organising conferences and seminars, she is the co-editor of the book Clinical Encounters in Sexuality (2017, Punctum Books) and is the editor of Lacunae, the International Journal for Lacanian Psychoanalysis. She is a full member of APPI, the Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland, and lectures at various colleges, universities and institutes on psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and teacher education.

She gives general and specialised talks on issues pertaining to mental health to groups, and to media. She delivers workshops, on request, to groups on topics such as anxiety, mental health, sexuality, psychoanalysis.
